How ironic we lived in Chicago in 2010 when we visited the Vatican. We attended mass, I had a scarf to cover my shoulders - a dress code strictly enforced. And, as any good Catholic tourist would, we brought home a Pope John Paul II bobblehead that still lovingly watches over our family room to this day.

An unforgettable club trip in stunning Cabo San Lucas at @thecapehotel and this one was extra special. After 10 years apart, we reunited with a cherished client, and the connection felt like no time had passed.
Winners and their guests were welcomed with ocean views, and a festive dinner complete with a Mariachi band to kick off four days of sun-soaked luxury. From a dine around showcasing Cabo’s culinary scene (including a pirate that prepares caesar salad table side), to moments of relaxation at the spa or teeing off, each day was thoughtfully curated for connection and well earned celebration.
The trip came to a perfect close with a farewell dinner on The Cape’s iconic rooftop, where we reminisced from past adventures and laughed over memories made more than a decade ago.
What stood out most wasn’t just the views or experiences, it was the feeling of picking up right where we left off. We’re so grateful to be back together again. Here’s to the next chapter and many more memories to come.

“The best restaurant per peso in Mexico!” - Jim Dailey
Along the road, across from a Costco sits a secret gem, @lataquizatezal. It feels like it could’ve been featured on No Reservation, Anthony Bourdain would have loved it. An open-air spot, painted in vibrant magenta, not fancy, just real. Our driver raved about it, it’s his favorite place for al pastor.
As a program winds down, the last thing our team wants to do is dress up for a long dinner. We’re all about casual and local. We asked the hotel concierge about it, and when we inquired if we could bring a bottle of wine she assured us it’s laid-back, if they had one, it’d be minimal. Turns out, it was only $15!
We walked in and were seated at tables with colorful, festive chairs. The Final Four was playing, and the menu? Think Chi-Chi’s meets 2 a.m. Taco Bell cravings, but from scratch being made before your eyes. From cheese wrapped tacos to fajitas and enchiladas - everything you’d want. The servers are awesome and very tuned into gluten free needs/celiac concerns for @eti_rhi. The salsa tray, spice level is labeled by colored spoons - brilliant! I didn’t touch the yellow spoons. We ate and ate and ate … and then Jim got churros to go. He’s my gluten and sugar tester, and on rare occasions, he’ll say it’s worth it. This churro? Worth two bites. It was THAT good.
Their margaritas are a must-try too, with a variety of flavors, plus a full bar for my Don Julio and soda fix.
If you’re ever in Cabo, this is a must-try.
