We’re all about experiencing stars, and now @michelinguide is shining a light on the most exceptional hotels worldwide unveiling their key distinction. One of my all-time favorite discoveries: Airelles Château de Versailles, Le Grand Contrôle received 3 keys.
✨ Stumbling upon their Instagram was like stumbling upon a portal to a dream. I not only daydreamed about the opulence of a faraway realm but also manifested it through my vision board— that materialized later that year!
🦀 It must be the Cancer in me, drawn to dwellings rich in history and regal luxury, finding a home away from home is pure bliss, especially a Château.
👑 Staying there is akin to being royalty in your own right. Of course ETI brought a group of clients to experience it.

I was shopping at Basin when I noticed this Mosquito Fighting Soap. ”Mosquitoes will hate you. Eucalyptus, lavandin, and citronella essential oils will really bug those pesky critters!”
While the scent is fine, it isn’t the daily aroma I would like to permeate, especially on client programs. Costa Rica was the first place I tested it. I used it on my legs and ankles daily, showering before our nighttime events and never applying any bug spray. I’m honestly a little shocked I didn’t get bit once.

🛍️ I also might have purchased 18 of their soaps in holiday scents one time I was at the Grand Floridian after a couple of Espresso Martini’s and caviar.
To say I am a fan of @basinfresh is an understatement.

Anyone who was anyone bought suits from Martin Greenfield, a Holocaust survivor who died on Wednesday at 95
For 71 years, Greenfield worked at, and eventually owned, one of America’s last-standing suit factories on a humble industrial stretch of East Williamsburg, Brooklyn. As his competitors withered—their factories foreclosed upon, their sewing machines exported overseas—Greenfield, who survived Auschwitz and lived to 95, didn’t just cling to his shears, he soared.
“I have one job, making the best clothing in the world,” Greenfield once said. His arrogance was earned. Greenfield made suits for Donald Trump and Shaquille O’Neal. He crafted custom clothes for LeBron James and Frank Sinatra. That infamous tan suit that ignited a presidential controversy when Barack Obama wore it at a press conference in 2014? Going out on any kind of a boat, catamaran, yacht, speedboat. My favorite was a luxurious vessel in Turks & Caicos, we went snorkeling (I could have stayed in the ocean surrounded by gorgeous fish for hours), jumped off a ship wreck, had a drink at a floating bar, and sailed back during sunset.

The atmosphere lends itself to relaxing sipping while unwinding from a day of shopping, I like going when it first opens in the late afternoon. The most impressive beverage on the menu is L’Imperial at $5,000 💸💎, but you get to take home the glass!! The gracious manager presented it to me from my inquisitiveness and sheer curiosity.
Best Cocktail: Skinny Margarita - it’ll fuel you to spend the next 8 hours Jazz Club hopping with two famous musicians from different bands!

I pause when I see a Michelin multiple-star restaurant on the itinerary. Not in excitement but in hesitation.
GASP! WHAT?!
I know. Sitting for 4+ hours gets to me, and I get uncomfortably full. There’s a level of decorum one must sustain as well. I get anxious as my fellow diners and I do the wine pairings or Jim pairs. (We get a little louder by the fifth course (or bottle).
Sure, one star, I can do that all day.
Two, ok, sort of.
Whew, but three. It’s big time.
We dined at Hélène Darroze at The Connaught in London in December. The announcement came yesterday; they maintained the 3-Star Michelin Rating. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I am not surprised a bit; it truly is an exceptional restaurant. Not only was this one of the most delicious dining experiences. The service was fabulous, not arrogant or stuffy, and every interaction was impeccable.
I got the caviar supplement; it was my favorite dish, and I still dream of its perfection. The other swap I had was a cheese plate instead of dessert because I don’t eat sugar, which came with the delightful pageantry of the cheese cart.
If you have the opportunity, put this on your UK culinary list!
P.S. I’m hunting for mother of pearl utensils if you know where I can get some.

When you’re invited to join a 5 Time Olympic Qualifier to watch the 2024 Olympic Marathon Trials in Orlando!!!
Yes!!!!! We were in the Cheer Zone, where the athletes made a course turn three times throughout the race. The excitement had my eyes welling up with emotion all morning!! The men started, and about 10 minutes later, the women took off!
I fell in love with the Olympics in Atlanta 1996. The first games we saw in person were Track & Field. The Marathon ended with a loop in the stadium. I remember, and to this day, can feel the roar of excitement as the runners were coming in! The accomplishment, the pride, the athleticism - the magic of it all.
The most emotional part of today was how the spectators would ROAR and shake the cowbells furiously for the final runners- trying to boost them up, cheering them on. And one of those runners was a woman, Maegan Krifchin, who was 7 months pregnant. Easily a crowd favorite as we were all in awe. You could hear her coming far away from a wave of excitement from the crowd. 🥹
Her fiancé, Matt McDonald, placed 11th in the men’s trials!!

Whoever wins those grand prizes??
On day three of BravoCon, after sipping on some bubbles @eti_rhi and I took one last stroll through the expo booth area. We hadn’t yet interacted with the @nbcolympics 2024 Paris booth. They were there representing NBC, which owns Bravo.
The booth had great swag, luggage tags that said Team USA, and passport holders. You can never have too many of these in the travel industry. Did we want to sign up for their Grand Prize Trip to go to the 2024 Olympics? Yeah, sure. I never sign up for these, but when in Rome, or this case, Vegas, why not?!
Two weeks later, Rhiannon gets an email saying she won! SHE WON!!! SHE WON THE GRAND PRIZE TRIP TO THE 2024 OLYMPICS IN PARIS!!!!!
I still cannot believe she picked me to be her guest!!! We recently booked the flights for August, making it feel more real. Thank you @delta for providing a gift card as part of the winning package.

On day three of BravoCon, after sipping on some bubbles @eti_rhi and I took one last stroll through the expo booth area. We hadn’t yet interacted with the @nbcolympics 2024 Paris booth. They were there representing NBC, which owns Bravo.
The booth had great swag, luggage tags that said Team USA, and passport holders. You can never have too many of these in the travel industry. Did we want to sign up for their Grand Prize Trip to go to the 2024 Olympics? Yeah, sure. I never sign up for these, but when in Rome, or this case, Vegas, why not?!
Two weeks later, Rhiannon gets an email saying she won! SHE WON!!! SHE WON THE GRAND PRIZE TRIP TO THE 2024 OLYMPICS IN PARIS!!!!!
I still cannot believe she picked me to be her guest!!! We recently booked the flights for August, making it feel more real. Thank you @delta for providing a gift card as part of the winning package.

Ya mon- we go on site visits for every client trip even if we’ve been to the country or resort multiple times.
It’s important for us to experience new activities, restaurants, meet any new staff, etc! Yes, have people joked “oh you just have to check out the spa?! That’s rough.” Yes!! We know our clients standards and we strive to continue to elevate them. It’s our job to make magic happen down to the tiniest details so our clients have the best experience each and every time!!
